We are thrilled that you want to join us for Music Lessons! For Piano Prep and Beginning Piano Classes, register through the Champaign Park District. For all other lessons, register with CSM directly.

How to Register With the Champaign School of Music
Contact us at 217-359-0541.
Be prepared with the following information:
- Name and age of student (s).
- 2-3 choices of times and days you'd like lessons.
- Parent/Guardian contact information
- Payment information (Visa, Mastercard, or checking account)
We will help you find the instrument, lesson length, lesson schedule, and teacher that will best meet your needs. We will confirm your monthly tuition. Afterwards we will ask for your student, parent, and payment information and conclude by reviewing our Upcoming Events and School Policies and Procedures. Shortly after beginning lessons you will receive a packet that includes everything you need to know about our Events, Programs, and Policies.
How to Register Through the Champaign Park District
You may begin registering via web-site or in person for Fall Sessions in August. Spring registration opens in December and Summery registrations in May.
Web-site
- Call CPD at 398-2376. Obtain a Username and Password.
- Go to CPD Web-site at: www.ChampaignParkDistrict.com
- Go to "Registration" then click on the link "Register for Champaign Park District Programs"
In Person
- Go to the Springer Cultural Center at: 301 N. Randolph St, Champaign or the Bresnan Meeting Center at: 706 Kenwood Rd, Champaign.
Registration FAQs
Q. Is tuition due at the time of registration?
A. Yes. Tuition and registration fee will be due in order to complete your registration.
Q. Will I need to buy books at the time of registration?
A. No. You will buy these after your first lesson, once you and your teacher have identified the best books for you.
