Music Play (2-3½ years)
Learn Music Like a Language
Did you know that your child has the capacity to learn and communicate through music as easily as they do their own language? Through stimulating Music Play activities they may become fluent in the language of music. Music Fluency opens up a world of possibilities as they grow. He or she may want to learn to play an instrument or participate with their friends in school choir, orchestra, band or musical theatre. Musical fluency will enable them to excel in and really enjoy these activities. Even if they don’t participate in other musical activities, their lives will be enriched as they hear and truly understand the popular music around them. These classes are fun, interactive and developmentally appropriate. They will give your child the head start in music that you wished you had. Register for all three sessions to ensure your spot. There is a maximum of 8 students.
Based on research and work in Music Learning Theory by acclaimed US researcher and educator Edwin Gordon. Supplies may need to be purchased on the first day.
