Piano

Learning the Piano seems fairly straight forward: you see a note in the music and push the corresponding key. You follow the rhythm, dynamics and tempo markings and voila. You have a song! Unfortunately, its not really that easy especially if you want to be able to express yourself at the piano as easily and enjoyably as you talk. Like any sport, playing the piano requires a unique muscle set, particular posture and acute sense of space. A skilled teacher can assist you in developing these unique piano skills and help you combine them with equally important musical skills. Though most do not aspire to a professional career, the better you are, the more fun and opportunities you have. Whether you are a brand new beginner just starting out or an experienced pianist headed for a professional career, CSM's piano program is uniquely capable of helping you achieve success and joy in your studies.
