Piano Prep/Early Childhood
Are you thinking about piano lessons for your child but aren't sure if they are ready? In each stimulating, 8 week session your child will sing, dance, and play their way towards developing the skills that are fundamental to beginning piano lessons with enjoyment and ease. Activities will focus on games that assist children in developing musically and that encourage a love of music. Upon graduating from Piano Prep, students will be able to enter our Private Piano Lessons.
You may join at any time and take up to 5 sessions. This is a popular class and we recommend you reserve your spot now in at least 2-3 consecutive sessions. Students may need to purchase materials ($10-20).

This is a fun class in which the children develop both their personal musical skills and basic piano skills. About ½ the class will be spent doing musical activities in the center of the room to develop the child's personal skills such as the ability to hear and keep a steady beat, hear and sing on pitch, sing and move expressively and the other ½ will be spent developing basic piano playing skills through playing simple songs and activities.
This class will make starting private instrument lessons much more fun and easy because, having developed some basic personal and piano skills, they'll be more able to focus on the new instrument specific things and reading.
Your child can stay in this class for up to a year. Each session will continue to develop the same essential skills but through new and exciting activities.
